The payment story in Belgium is quickly told: bancontact and Bancontact Pay cover nearly every deposit, and the payout runs to your bank account. Payconiq by Bancontact was renamed Bancontact Pay in March 2026. The card in your wallet probably already does it, with a threshold that rarely drops under €5.
Bancontact Pay limits to €1500 per operation and €2500 per 24 hours. Deposits land instantly; on your account it usually appears after one to three banking days, and the operator adds its own check on top.
From signup to first payout
The start is recognisable at every operator: correct personal details and an identity check ahead of the first payout. Usually an ID together with a document showing your address is enough. A deposit in someone else's name reliably blocks your payout.
Dutch or French is not guaranteed, and complaining to the Commission is not an option. Document your deposits yourself, even if the site does too; that is what remains if a discussion ever arises.
What the law imposes
The rules on player protection here run considerably more strictly than a few years ago and you feel it on the first deposit. On any licensed site the weekly limit defaults to €200.
The Gaming Commission keeps one central exclusion register in EPIS: one registration excludes you at once from every licensed operator, online and on-site. The entry point is the Gaming Commission.
